Just a couple pics from the latest car to cross my workbench. I picked this up at Stockyard Express including a pair of MTH 2 rail trucks. It is a really straight forward conversion. Just swap the trucks and mount your couplers. I tapped mine for 2-56 machine screws, but you could use self tapping if you prefer. This car didn't require any shims to align with the Kadee coupler height gauge. I think it is a neat little car. For the money and minimal effort involved it is hard to beat. I did a light weathering job with powders, but it's hard to see in the pics.

I'm not sure Martin. I couldn't find an exact match, but that doesn't mean it isn't correct. To be honest, I don't really care. It is plausible and thet is good enough for me. I try not to take myself or my railroad too seriously. It is a cool little car though either way.
