I purchased an MTH RailKing® Fire Station and am having trouble getting the Activation Button to work.  When 1st power on, the door opened, fire truck came out and returned.... but the Activation Button (radio shack 110v ac  momentary push button), does not activate the sequence.  My wiring diagram is attached.  Any ideas on what I might have done wrong?

I read in their manual that it operates on AC or DC.  But it does not mention voltage.  I'll wire to a single source and see if that helps.  Thanks.

I found my problem....  It works fine with Dc, but I had reversed the polarity.  Thanks for your help.
