Does anyone know if the 10 volt and 14 volt accessory outputs on the Z-4000 are AC or DC? The catalog doesn't specify.

Hello Paul,
Every output on the Z4000 is AC.
Tanks!
Another question came up: Am wondering why my Z-4000's two variable handles seem to have a problem powering accessories once I go above 6 amps per handle? I have two Z-4000's powering lights. Both transformers get loud and the building lights pulse bright and dim back and forth and the transformers make an electronic whining sound when I go to 10 volts and 6 amps per handle. And, I didn't have any load on the fixed voltage terminals. If I am doing my math right I am only putting 60 watts per channel, and the Z-4000 is supposed to go much higher for watts, like 160 watts per handle? Could it be that my wiring t/o buildings and from terminal strips to buildings is too small (am using 22 gauge) and the transformers are struggling to "push" the current through?
I'm not sure about the transformer noise, but 6 amps is the limit for 20 gauge wire, according to my chart. You definitely are getting warm wires with 22 gauge.
