I recently purchase a box of O80 Curves for my layout and the quality of these curves is not the same as my O72 curves which I'm upset about and I hope that MTH corrects this problem.  I use a 2.5mm drill to drill my holes in the ties.  However, if I do this on the O80 curves it will leave very little wall around the screw.  The next thing I notice was the gap between the rails is very large compared to the O72 curves.  Now I don't mind a little gap to hear clickety clack, but I hear clunk clunk when the train goes by now.  Anyone else have this issue, or did I get a bad box of curves?

Paul,  are all of the pieces like this one pictured above in the bottom photo?

I have plenty of both curves and all fit fine. It appears that your inside rail is too short (I notice that the center blade is overlapping each other too)  Perhaps you can cut the outer blade slightly shorter and that may cause them to fit flush. Careful that you don't disturb the brass end clips.

They may have had a bad batch and hopefully you can exchange these.
