MTH WI-FI APP

Hi Mike- If your not going to hook it up now, then no need to download the app. Several recent threads mentioned some bugs in the last update that MTH was addressing.

That is unless you are bored after back surgery and want to play with it.

Happy New Year.  There are several other threads here discussing the app with bugs.  If you are not going to be running trains for the next 6 months to a year, I am not sure why you would want to get it.

I have the DCS Wi-Fi app and am a big big fan of it, regardless of the bugs. I am sure the current bugs will be worked out by the time you get your new layout built, and those bugs will be replaced by other bugs.

You've got nothing to lose by getting it now. If you run android it hasn't been updated yet and should work fine. If you get the bugged apple version it will be updated soon to fix said bugs and you'll be good to go.

Thanks, guys, for the input! As for playing with it after back surgery because I am board won't happen as everything is already in boxes!

I been fallowing the other threads about the Wi-Fi problem with bugs and being new to this I wasn't sure if it included androids or not!

With you Insite I will just wait till I have something up and able to play with it! I will just tape the shipping box back up and it will be like a new gift when I get to it! LOL

If you are using Android, I'd definitely get it now and not let it update automatically should update be released.

The current version on Android works pretty well. If you have it now, you'll have it. If not, and a new version comes out that's buggy, or lacks something, you'll have a hard time getting a previous version.

Good point Rod, now im am thinking about doing it as it wont hurt to have it and if needed I can always up grade!
