mth z750 controller/no variable volts

Got a used one cheap at a show. my mistake. its either none or full voltage. I replaced the 10k pot and the q1 [q2015ls]. regulator. still the same. the brick is fine. works with my good z750. i see no corrosion or cracks. any ideas or suggestions before i chuck it?
