That is intentional. When an MU or double header is created the sounds and other controls only work on the lead engine. The components of the MU are placed in the inactive area.  If you want the sounds on the trailing engines to sound all you have to do is to bring the component engines into the active area and adjust those engine features you desire to control.  I personally have a hoot when a 4 unit MU sounds off with all four different sounds.

just added another MU with 2 opposing PS2 SD70'S and same as before.when i first turn it on have to cycle the dir button twice otherwise the eng oppose each other.this also happens in watch dog.other than the dir issue every thing works 100 percent.as i post this/2 MU's going at once and running flawless.BTW the PS2's are 3 rail and the PS3's are 2 rail.
