Now get yer mind out of the gutter. Did the title grab you or what? I have struggled all year to find a good method to clean off lacquer on new models. I have sandblasted ( slow, messy and a health risk). Tried acetone, lacquer remover and bar keepers friend-- very mixed results. Tonight I purchased a can of. Jasco and it does the trick. Quick, use outside and keep it away from your skin. I dipped the disassembled models in a tub, let them sit 20 minutes then brushed. Another five and I hosed them off and air dried. Most are ready for paint, some need another go. Overall, very timely, reasonable and thorough.
