Since my fall four weeks ago which resulted in a broken left wrist and numerous bruises, I have been cautiously avoiding the stairs to our second floor where my train room is located. Going up is fairly safe and easy, but coming down requires both hands, and is tedious at best even with assistance. Also, I mainly use my left hand for my controls, and even with my new lighter cast, I still lack the manual dexterity to operate them. But, I am confident in about another month, I will have more use of my left hand to get to the train room and fire up that Z-4000 and DC power supply for the LGB and run those trains!
