yes blue comet colors, have some orginal two tone blue std gage cars I run with a 1385e, thought this woul look nice with them
Mike,
You did an OUTSTANDING!!! job. I've been working on a 318 basket case myself. Finding the parts is the hardest and sometimes the most expensive part of the project. You could almost create your own "Baby" Blue Comet.
hello Mike Slater...........
How about a blue comet freight train, painting the freight cars in blue comet colors to go with your 318A ? Everybody has seen the blue comet passenger train so for fun why not a blue comet freight train for change? something different just a thought

I need to order headlights, a pantograph, and couplers for this one. The number 10 which is next, will need the same items, plus a set of wheels.
By the time I am done I should have about 150-175 into each locomotive, the best part it was american made and restored in america.
Awesome job. I love the colors.
doing a freight in blue comet colors wouldn't intrest me personally, I think MTH may of done fright in comet colors. The 10 will get painted the same way my late father painted the o gauge version of the same loco.
Just to let everyone know this is a good source for parts. I have used them for a few parts and they were very good to deal with.
That looks GREAT!
Great job on that. I did some basket cases myself and parts can make it expensive.

Mike,
Chris is right on the money. Harry is a super nice guy. All of his parts that I've bought are first rate reproductions.
Great job.
