My order from Menards

They do a very good job with shipping. It's a good company to deal with.

I ordered quite a few items from Menards this week and I have to give an atta boy. The items themselves are incredibly packed to prevent damage. The bridge and the buildings are some of the best packing I have seen from a mfg.

I just like doing business with them.  And they built a new store near me.  My wife and I have an agreement that I do her "honey do" projects and remodel jobs and I get to keep the 11% rebate to spend on model train stuff.  It's a win-win.  So you can bet that all the materials come from Menards during the rebate period.  I mostly buy the higher priced stuff for her precious projects now; she deserves the best...... and 11% of $500 is bigger than 11% of $100....I have six rebates sitting on the dresser right now waiting for the Christmas season to start.

I'll let David reply with the particulars but I can attest to how well the buildings and bridge look on his layout!!  Sunday I had the pleasure of visiting David and the new layout he's building and it was my first opportunity to see Menards products in person and out of the box.  I have to give credit where credit is due as they look really nice especially the "nose art" series of boxcars.

Thanks Greg and to you Falconhouse I did order the bridge, Pepsi and Morton salt buildings. Two 1/48 trucks, Pepsi and Mountain Dew and another military flat car. 

Have a shipment coming this week also with two Morton salt hoppers, all I need now is some Pepsi cars.

I ordered the bridge, salt factory but no Pepsi, Coke only.

I also only drink Coke but the Pepsi building is really cool. Although I do like Mountain Dew, how do you think I lasted till retirement! 

The Morton Salt building looks good.
