Machine?  The famous railroad historian Al Staufer once said there were times he was unsure whether steam locomotives were living things or not.   After riding behind the 611 this past weekend and watching all of the great videos of her traversing the Virginia countryside I can certainly understand why he said that.   She is magnificent! 

Next best thing to being there!  Excellent video!

Dumb question. To the excursions board at VMT, or at OWL?

I have no idea where VMT or OWL are, but they boarded at the Manassas Amtrak station.
