Not wanting to hijack any of the other SCARM threads, I thought I'd post this little problem here.  I'm a little mystified as to the cause of some horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines in a 3D SCARM view of my layout.

I just inserted Rico Junction, recently made available here,  and had made some tunnels and elevation changes which is when these things appeared. Obviously I've done something wrong, but I'm not really sure what. Any ideas? (Incidentally, the big cylindrical thing on the right is my hot water heater.)

Also, the portion of a bridge on the left is actually a timber trestle over a gorge. On the actual SCARM plan, I've colored it brown, but on the 3D view it's still green. How do I change that?

Love the file sharing!

It appears that you may some translucent rectangle objects or you are over taxing your video card.

For the bridge, turn heights on, select all of the bridge track, right click and select track supports, remove track supports. Also select the bridge button to keep the terrain down.

Then you need objects underneath for your timbers.

If you post the file, I'll see if I get those clear images and fix the bridge.

This is the Polygon figure below the building. It is with "Snap Terrain to Bottom" property on, has some height and the color is set to Transparent - that's why the 3D rendering engine shows only the edges (mystery lines) of the triangles, that are forming the polygon figure in 3D.

Set Height to 0 (zero) - that should fix the problem.

Thanks Mixy. I was hoping you would chime in. That fixed it.
