Looking real good.
It really looks great Charlie amd Chris. I'm sure it will bring in alot of new business and your just in time for the Christmas season.
Good luck guys.
DID THE MAROON SUBS GET THERE YET?
Looks very nice!

Nicely done, Charlie! I really enjoy seeing bright, clean, and well organized shops, be they hobby shops or anything else. Makes the customer feel--and know--that the owner takes pride in his establishment.
Thanks and no Marron subs yet CC.
That looks great.
Congratulations! Looks like a very nice store, very well done and large to boot! Lots of merchandise to browse! You are just a very long way from where I live. We have very few train shops around here but, we do have one nice small train shop that is mostly O gauge. The owner is a nice guy that will help you order/get anything you are looking for. We have sort of become friends.
You guys back east are very lucky to have lots of nice big shops (and smaller ones too). Hobby shops are very limited here in the midwest, especially for O gauge.
I wish you well with your newly remodeled store, looks like it would be hard to go in and browse and then leave empty handed! I mostly support my local shop so he can hopefully remain profitable, stay in business, and I will have a train shop to visit, but I will keep an eye on your website.
Well done. I hope to stop buy in the next few weeks.
The floor looks a miilion times better than the old carpet.
I was just there a couple of days ago, and the shop looks even better in person! Charlie, please pass my congratulations along to Chris. I'm very fortunate that your shop is only a 10 minute drive. Best of luck in the future.
Andy
Nicely done!!!
Looks very nice Charlie, but I thought you were going to make it look like the Olive Garden.
fantastic, wish I lived near your establishment.
A definite upgrade. Congratulations. I look forward to seeing the renovated establishment the next time I am on Long Island.

I seem to remember that the store seemed on the small side(a while since I've been there). You must have expanded. Looks nice. Good luck with everything.

If it's been more than about 14-15 years, it's because it's a different building! (I forget the exact date, but I believe the move to the current location occurred in the 1998-1999 time frame)

It is obvious you have put a lot of quality work into your renovation project. Looking very good.
Hope the investment pays off big time for you.
Really nice and all set for the holiday season!

David is correct, after renting since 1946 (3 stores in Freeport) I took the plunge years ago and bought this 3 building complex. We rented out two stores(now one when they needed more room), kept the main two floor building for us and have a huge connected two story warehouse in the back that can acomodate a full tractor trailer inside. We designed the warehouse but it needs painting and the floor resealed. I would also like to update the electric roll up door too. Our plan is to scan everything into and out of shipping/receiving later this year. The layout work will begin shortly and will be multi level.
Chris says "Thank You" for all the kind wishes. Say Hi to him at York when you see him. Thanks again, Charlie..
you all are really showing how a shop should be. Congrats! And stocking Tamiya paint is a real plus.....all my repaints I post here use Tamiya.....great stuff......great addition to your store.
We will be adding many new lines and products too!
Looks great Charlie and Chris. I wish you the very best. I'm sure it was a lot of work and to a lot of effort. I hope it pays off for you.
Now we have to help you guys empty the shelves! Where is Erol when you need him?
Gerry
Good work Charlie. See you guys soon.
Looks great!
Looks Great! All the best!
First rate look. Next time I'm on Lon Gisland I'll be sure to stop by. Congratulations on the renovations.

New Yorkers and Long islanders are two completely different species. Just ask us folks from Staten island.

Any chanch of opening a Branch LHS in the Dallas Area? The only LHS that I know of in the area is closing (Collectible trains and Toys) a really great LHS).

As Charlie and Chris know it is not about New York or even Long Island, but all about the South Shore and some of the finest beaches in the world. Stopping at Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Freerport, Merrick, Belmore, Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Amityville, Copiague, Lindenhurst and Babylon. Need I say more.
Congrats on your renovations guys.
All the best,
Miketg
