I have attached 3 pictures below. Entrance, left side, right side respectfully of the space in question.

I might be purchasing this bridge as a lift up/out structure to close a 41" gap ( walk through access ). It's a fastrack layout. Can I connect the bridge track with fastrack. There's no plywood top installed yet. A sound deadening layer (as I have asked about in another topic) will be placed over the wood top.  I have attached pictures of the opening. Any advice on how to attach the bridge, etc. is helpful. The easier the task of removing and putting the bridge back in place the better it is for me.  I am concerned about reliable power connection and secure placement of the structure. My other choice of bridge is the new Lionel # 6-82110 Extended Truss Bridge, but I would have to purchase 2 of them. That's twice the cost.

Mike G. Thank you. Eric's video was very helpful. It's simple and gets the job done.

Mike CT, Thank you  your photos are helpful. That power connection with outlet and plug fits the bill! Does the wire go directly from the shown  middle and outer rail to the plug for each track?  Why are there 2 wires soldered to the outer rail?

Now I need to know how to attach Atlas track to Fastrack.  Are adapters available?

Now I need to know how to attach Atlas track to Fastrack.  Are adapters available?  Don't know about fast track.   The Atlas Rail joiners work well to connect Ross and Gargraves/modified by removing the lower part of the track profile.

Gargraves left, Atlas right.

Mike CT,  is that jumper to both outer rails needed for the power connection to the bridge track, or does it have a different purpose? As you can tell my knowledge of wiring is not the best. I do it with much caution and apprehension.  An engine, locomotive,  should be able to pick common connection from one outside rail.   IMO  Two rails is better.

Thanks Mike CT! Now I get it!

Thanks John H. Using Gargraves track on the bridge makes for a nice realistic look.  I just searched the forum and found a topic on mating Atlas track with Fastrack.  Atlas makes  (if available) an Atlas-to-traditional end clamp. One side is for Atlas track and the other is for tubular Lionel track. Then I put the connected tubular to a Fastrack transitional piece. I need to put a roadbed under the Atlas track to reach the same height of Fastrack.

These bridges do not stand up well under frequent repeat handling.  They tend to shed fragile parts.  I  installed  five of them in lift out situations and used a  Birch cabinet grade multi ply tray with fitter pieces of track on each end.  The delicate bridge components never come near the fixed right of way during R & R.  Tain't the most prototypical but no Chinese junk on the floor either.

You may wish to consider a Lionel lift bridge in conjunction with a rolling stool.  Minor lift but  it works quite well depending on layout height / torso length / stool adjustability / knees.
