Need help wiring a Lionel Switch Tower to Scale Trax infra-red remote

Try common on No.1, normally closed on No.3 and normally open on No.2.

transformer accessory power to aux +, transformer common to aux-.

You should use 12-14v as the lamp will burn out with more power. The lamp stays on and the men move when activated.

I've tried wiring this accessory in so many permutations that I've given up.  Either the light works or the men move--but never both.  The instructions that I have from Lionel don't help.  So now, I just have it wired for the light only.

I ended up looking at the connections from the clips to determine where they went. I got it to work, but the buzzing of the coil was obnoxious. At that point, I didn't feel like installing the fix for that. Then the string for the guy on the stairs came out of the eyelet. I put it away for some later fun.

So, I am looking for the repro with the solid state internals.
