Got this at a blowout price and although older technology (2009) thought I'd have some fun with it, but first some questions.
It's sku is 6-37006 and on the Lionel Owner's manual it has 73-7006-250 10/19
1.) No tech documentation available in Lionel's archives for this device but sd card that comes with it states Appotech Photo frame usb device / usb mass storage device, however Windows 7 doesn't see/recognize this as a storage or other type device even though drivers on card were installed. I had to insert SD card directly into computer for it to be read, so does that mean it's not a compatible device with Windows 7?
2.}It comes with a 128MB SD/MM card but what's the maximum size card the software / billboard can read / handle? (Also what type/speed sd card should I get for it?)
3.) Manual states it can display MJP (MotionJPG) formatted videos and includes a util.ity to convert other video formats to MJP formatted files.
What's the maximum length video file that can be read and with which sd card? What's the maximum number of these clips that can be played and again on what size card?
Looking forward to anyone who has or had this device and/or is familiar with Appotech Photo frame USB devices and can provide more information, guidance, tips, suggestions, etc.
