I recommend searching for "20 or 22 gauge silicon wire" on the interwebz. I got a spool from the amazonians and am well pleased with the flexibility, ease of cut/trim/strip ability and it takes solder like I drink up milkshakes!

It has much lower physical friction/pull on the truck swivel action and I also use it when replacing older postwar cloth/internal wiring

I actually have a couple rolls of 20 ga flex!!
