SMR is now offering Ironwood Model's 0-scale arch roof boxcar kits fully assembled, painted and lettered for your favorite railroad.  The kits include SMR's brass 44" wood beam trucks and SMR's Link & Pin couplers.

These American-Made kits are built by American Craftsmen to your order.  Price is $189.95 plus S&H.  If you want to do it yourself, SMR stocks Ironwood kits as well as two types of wood-beam trucks and two types of Link & Pin coupler sets.

SMR is also announcing a run of brass Arch Roof Passenger Cars in four different configurations and paint schemes: USMRR, Western & Atlantic, PRR and NY & Harlem.  These are based upon Jackson & Sharp prototypes and are due in about a year.

It is too bad that the trucks are not made of a mix of Brass and Wood. It would have been cool having the frame of the trucks made of spruce or some other hard wood.

Beautiful cars. Could we get a picture of the kit, before assembly?

Thanks

Yves
