I just finished shooting and editing my second video of postwar Lionel sets running on my modern layout. I visualize it as a giant railfan excursion. It's about 6 minutes long and features 6 original sets shot in 4K.
Enjoy! TJ

Great layout and video!.
I have to admit that I've been a fan of your work since the TM video, probably 30 years ago......

Thanks Peter, but am I really that old?
Nothing like that growling noise when the first start to move.
Layout is incredible. Videography is amazing.
Thank you all for your nice comments. I'm both appreciative and humbled!

I have since pared down my cap collection to about 60 caps!
BTW, it was a blast when Tom Mc Comas was having me wear those different caps. It was September 1991 early in the morning, maybe 1 or 2 AM, when they had finished shooting my layout. He was taping the interview and was crouched down in front of me below the camera on a tripod. After a few questions he looked to the side and noticed a few hundred caps I displayed on low shelves below my layout. On a sudden impulse he tossed me a cap during his questioning. It eventually turned into a late night silly session because every question involved him throwing a different cap at me to wear. We did an update in 2014's Toy Train Revue 3 with my new layout and Tom asked if we could re-enact the cap throwing event, which we did, ending with me wearing a WWII gas mask. Tom is a fun guy!
