1. Addressing Locomotive is different from my other Legacy locomotives. The PROG/RUN switch is left in the PROG position. The SET button is not used to program the engine, instead a LEGACY START-UP button starts the engine up and you leave the switch in the PROG position. So what is the RUN position for?

2. The caboose looks like it has a marker light on each end but only one of them lights. Is this correct? Should they both light?

Thanks for your help.

I have this set, which is very nice.

I am currently use the CAB-1 so I programed the locomotive by ensuring the switch was on PRGM and then using  ENG 15 SET, Then I moved the switch to RUN.

As for the Caboose, I only have noticed the one red light on one end of the caboose.

For those of you who also purchased this set, I have a couple questions.
Do the front and rear pilots on your locomotives look the same? Mine has yellow stripes on one end, but not the other.
Were any of the cars damaged in the set box?  My gondola was, but other cars are fine.
Do your boxcars ride exceptionally high? mine appears to run de about 1/4” high on its trucks.
I contacted Lionel service, but was curious if others had similar issues.
