Here's my grain mill area along with farmer co op area, the yard will hold about 55 to 60 small hoppers, the farmer co op building is a kit from Model Tech Studios ,the big mills are from Korber Models and the small one's are MTH .

Nice job... A totally completed scene... Love it.
That looks great. I want todo something similar for grain train.
Bob
Very nice.
Very impressive work.
Another work of Art - you go Guy! Beautiful!
great looking grain elevator.........consider using 3-bay covered hoppers. real mills with that many silos would not use a 2- bay hopper. they are used to haul dense product such as cement, any thing steel based , or more recently, frack sand.-jim
I love it. Good placement and monolithic size.
Thanks for all the reply's , Jim the car's number was just an idea of how many car's will fit in the yard , the one's that I used were just handy, I have 3 bay's that I will be using to , I don't have all of my car's out yet I have about 100 covered hopper's , I will fill it up now that I have it finished ,I will add picture's of that when it is done .

The start to finish photos were a nice touch. Well done!!
Great job! I really like the yard. Matt
Thanks for all the reply's , I added a switch tower, some buildings and tree's down by the dairyman's coop between the main line and the yard .

Guy - Very nice job! I love the yard and I have never seen a grain elevator complex that I didn't like. The switch tower adds a lot to the scene too.
Art
That whole scene looks great Guy.
Fantastic. It really is looking good. By comparison to the earlier photos, this goes to show how difficult it is it really imagine how impressive a scene will be until you get some of the scenery and stuff in.
Nice!
Thanks for the reply's and the like's ,yes it dose look different when you get all the details done on different scenic, sometimes I let some places go till I can figure what I want to go there, I have to get different things out and place them there till I like it .
