I have recently moved into my new house with basement and am starting preliminary plans for my permanent layout. My intentions were to have a double track mainline plus some minor switching possibilities. Generally I did not want a duck under so I had to do the double folded dog bone. Currently plan on using Atlas but may use ScaleTrax. Here is my current plans in RRT and a BMP File. The small spur line at the bottom right of the layout is a planned extension into an small section of the basement that may include a reversing loop, a small yard, or engine facility. Not sure yet. The blue line is minimum 72 inch radius so I should be able to run any equipment on that line. The circle in the middle of the upper loop is a plumbing line which may change as I am planning a rehab on the bathroom above it in the near future.
Based on this plan I have quite a bit of prep to do including removing one wall plus removing a drop ceiling and false floor. I am going to use the painted black ceiling method and of course use backdrops on all walls.
Any comments would be appreciated. My only definite wishes are no duck under and at least one line 72" Radius.
Thanks in advance

PS I will be making my first trip to York next week and am looking forward to it.
