Hi Folks,

We just recently upgraded our homepage. I know it is only in German, but since a few people here speak German too, I thought I'd post it here. For all other people, you can look at the pictures and feel free to ask if there are any questions. Have fun!

david1, I'm glad you found a way to translate and understand our homepage - I hope you like it!

Lafondue, I haven't gotten into making 3-Rail replacement wheels for MTH cars (just 2-Rail modern gondola and tankcar) yet, but eventually I will. I have done a sample model with a Lenz two-axle chassis and 3-Rail wheels, but haven't done it for Brawa cars. The problem is that they all use different axles  and learing systems. The Brawa car would be difficult anyway because of all its underbody details. I will se what I can do...

Stefan

Very nice site - clear, uncluttered, and easy to use. My German is rusty, and not all that good in the first place, but I had no trouble navigating the site.

The prices for European-made items are scary. It's easy to see why MTH saw a potential market niche. I'm sure the Hermann, Fulgurex, etc. products are superlative - but at those prices, few of us could afford much of a collection!

Finally, I was intrigued by the Fulgurex 4-8-4 tank engine on the used page. Never seen a 4-8-4T before.

Thanks for the compliment for our homepage, its nice to get positive feedback after a hard and time taking work. I too like the new site very much!

Well, have you ever seen one of our (hermann) models in reality? Most of our costumers don't have large collections like some american collectors do. Less is more, thats how we collect.

Yes, this Fulgurex 4-8-4T steamer is really a special engine. Not a common sight here too, Switzerland never had such engines, I beleve they were unique to France.
