After being in the house 18 months, finally got the train room cleaned out.  3 days later I have some of the bench work built.  Still have to add a 12x12 island in the middle.  There will be a lift up to enter the walkways.  The walkways will be 3 feet wide and go around where the existing bench work it.  Hope to finish the rest of the bench work next weekend.  The room is 26x19, under our attached garage.

Most of the legs are just temporally there now, held by staples, waiting for the rest of my appliance levelers to come it.  I will post a picture later of the few that I have done.

There are actually two modules bolted together, so you can't see the sides.  Basically each module is 8x4.  Where two meet up, I just bolt them together.  Probably over kill, but it was easier for me working alone.  In the second picture you can see the heads of the carriage bolts.

Attached is a general tack plan.  My guess is that it will evolve once I start laying track.  The yellow is the walk way.  The blue is a half wall, and the black is a full wall.  The red will be some sort of lift up section.  The center island will have a round house and more tracks off the turntable.  Many more accessories, only put a few on for spacing.  Will probably have more yard tracks in the center, still working on that.  Each square is 2x2.  Currently all on one level.  Will use ross track and switches.
