2033240, alaska F'7s new release
Eric of Ericstrains has a set with passenger cars waiting for him to pickup at Legacy Station. He usually does a video right after.

TrainWorld shows the Alaska F7s in stock. I imagine they are here then and not due in July.
Hope they didn’t screw these up, they looked beautiful in the catalog and I’ve been excited to get these!
Just a heads up on these...
Lionel mis-labeled the cabs sides on NS ones as F-3s instead of the cataloged description and correct F-9 as on the prototype.
You may want to verify an actual as delivered model before you purchase if that detail is important to you.

Yes I noticed, it also has 1 marker light too. Still trying to decide on sending them back
Are the Alaska engines done correctly? I detailed the Alaska four-pack, two pack, and Dining Car with Preiser 65602 Seated People I painted. I hope they get the Alaska detailed correctly. The NS sound track is one that appears on many of my Lionel engines. It would be nice to have new engineer voices.
Sincerely, John Rowlen

Anyone get the 2033240 Alaska F units? How do they look and operate?

End of of this video has them running, a units have silver trucks and b units have black trucks, pictured that way in catalog, so I guess can blame it on Lionel
Jumping in with another request, I'm interested in the Rio Grande F7s that are in the same run as the Alaska versions. Has anyone seen those? I'm trying to determine if they were made with black trucks or silver trucks.

they look good, no mismatched trucks, see link for video
Turbine,
Eric Segal was running the Alaska F units on his weekend live show:
Don't know what details you are looking for but they look good to me.

Thanks for posting the video. I'd seen a picture of a mockup of these with silver trucks, and was hoping they would be produced that way. (The catalog shows them with black trucks!) Looks like the old wallet will be going on another weight loss program.
