John,
Nice looking caboose.

John, one of my favorite roads. How did you get your decals. I went to their site but could not find any decals for the TH&B. I am looking to redo a few of my cabooses..............Paul
John, you did a great Job. Do you have any other TH&B custom painted equipment?
Cool!
Thanks guys for the feedback. Paul- I got the decals from TMR distributing, not Black Cat, sorry. Marty- I have done TH&B yellow and boxcar red boxcars. Also, have done a Williams 2-8-4 road #201, and a MTH 4-6-4 road #502. See my other posts for some CN and CPR engines and cabeese I have repainted. John A
John, you must be from western New York. I have a great many friends there and on the other side of the river. They are all TH&B fans. I love the paint jobs. Do you know what this former TH&B item is? Most TH&B and NYC guys will know it. If not I can give some TH&B history related to this.

Marty- yes, I live in Niagara Falls, NY, about 200 yards from the river, and am a NYC, TH&B, CN, and CPR fan. My layout has a (compressed) Buffalo Central Terminal. On x5313 the tender trucks are the biggest clue, but I still had to "cheat'' and look up the road number. Maybe my MTH #502 Hudson pulled it when it was with the NYC. Interesting!! Upcoming TH&B projects include repainting a Lionel GP-7 and Railking passenger cars. Fun stuff! John A Central Niagara Railway
Nice job John. That's a cool paint scheme.
Thanks Pat....John A
John, I am originally from Niagara Falls, NY. I grew up liking all the same roads. I would be very much interested in knowing how you are going to paint your GP-9's. I have two myself I want to paint in TH&B colors. You could send me the information to my email which is in my profile. Thanks Paul
The X5313 is the largest part that lives from a NYC Hudson. In 1948 the NYC sold Hudson 5313 to the TH&B. When all the Hudsons were being cut up, the 5313 tender was saved and turned into this steam generator in 1954 to provide heat for passenger cars.
This car resides at Steamtown in Scranton today.
