Nice video Elliot. Considering you have been recuperating from hip surgery you have managed to get a lot done........Paul
It's coming along great Elliot!
Elliott,
Thank you for a video tour of your new layout. The layout looks very interesting. Love your backdrops & the NYC scene with the GCT/Met Life etc. Keep us posted.
Man-o-man, when you play around you don't play around! I am happy for you and will be eagerly catching glimpses of your play as you go along and share with us. That video was a nice appetizer!

I'm starting to see your vision! Coming along great!
Looking amazing!!! This is going to be another gem no doubt.
Elliot, nice work! Thanks for sharing.
Looks fantastic! Great start!
Peter
Thanks for the tour Elliot. The NYC diorama looks great. The video tour makes it easier to understand your original explanation of what you're trying to accomplish.
Elliot,
Looks very nice so far !!
Alex
Cool video Elliot. Your progress is coming along nicely. It looks like your packing a lot of railroading into what appears to be a smaller room. Just curious as to how big the room size is?
Thanks, everyone, for your support.
Paul . . surgery kept me from any major construction for two months but I managed to get the Altoona Roundhouse finished.
Dude . . Thanks
Craig, the NYC scene is one of my favorites. Hopefully, I will pull it off.
Frank . . if I can do half as well as "Moonson," I'll be a success !
Skip . . Miss you, brother. Let's do trains.
Rich and Peter . . Many thanks
Coach Joe . . Glad you like the diorama. I'm trying to understand it myself.
Alex . . Hope you and Dina come for a visit. How is Pop doing?
Phil . . The total room is about 42' by 36'. Two thirds is the layout and the rest is bath/home theater/pool table
looks great Elliot glad its starting to come together the way you want it sometime I will have to come up and see it
Looking just wonderful Elliot! I sure hope you keep updating .
So cool to see a video of the line that I read about in the OGR Magazine. I love it!
Nice work!!! Great minds must think alike. When I finished the plan for my current layout I wanted someplace to run my Electric locomotives, like GG1, but didn't want to tackle centenary over the entire layout. I thought why not add a big loop under the city area where the tracks would be part hidden but open along the visitor area.....looks somewhat like what you did!!!
Video updates now added
Video updates are great. Appears progress is being made! Roundhouse is nice.
Whoo Whoo! No pun intended. Glad to see you're back in business. The videos were very fun to watch. Can't wait to see more progress. I can tell it's going to be of OGR COVER quality. Looks like we have about the same amount of progress on our layouts. You may be a step ahead of me. I have to re-wire all of my turnouts. You gotta love that Graziano guy
Dave
Elliot,
You got to love those videos of the Lionel B6 switcher going in and out of the roundhouse. Love the roadhouse too by the way. Keep the videos coming they are extremely well done.
By the way I also have the same switcher running on the BDSME. You may want to try the close coupling hole on the drawbar.

New video update. There are now two operational lower main lines. There will be two staging tracks on the lower level. Upper level will have two more main lines and a large steam yard.
Looks like you are making nice progress!
Elliot,
Fantastic videos! I'm blown away by the interior details of your roundhouse. What a great video of the switcher heading in and the smoke coming out the pipe. And those synchronized sounds, wow. I felt transported in time. I like the idea of the steam yard and the electrics up front. (Fine work on that Tropicana orange, too :-). It's also nice to see other's work highlighted in your layout as well.
I'll look forward to following your progress.

You're doing fantastic work, Elliot! Love the roundhouse!
