Hello everyone here is a new O scale layout I am building here is the track plan I will post pic this week of where I am at in this project right now

Interested in seeing your progress. I like this plan and thought about building it when it came out.
Your tables are a pretty good size with lots of potential. So you aren't building the angled version shown in the first post? I figured the angled "L" is not such a convenient fit for most spaces. Have you customized a track plan to fit your tables?

I, too, was wondering why you didn't angle the tables. It will change the whole track/layout fitment.
it's a nice looking plan.
I had to do the l shaped as if I did the other one it took up more space then I had I am going to fit in as much track work as I can in to the L shape. We will see how it works out
Great start. Why does it appear that the track in the video is closer to the edges of the table than on the plan ?
Mike a great start. From what I saw in the video be careful when coming down that long stretch of track. It seemed that the train gained speed and a couple of times the engine looked as though it was on the verge of tipping over when it hit the curve. You may want to consider a larger radius curve if you intend to run the train at those speeds.
Not bad electrically for a single lock-on. I would suggest at least four location for power and common feeds for that loop.
Too bad you couldn't get the angled table into the space.
Have you ever tried spreading the rail from the bottom and inserting a stripped end of wire for a feed? A quick dab of solder makes it nice. A thin blade flat screwdriver and then rotated a little. I also like the lock-ons that press up into the rail bottom in the same fashion. The side clip dealies seam shaky.

It is closer to the edge because I am going to try and fit as much of the track work as I can in this layout
I like it because that is the same space I can fit in my spare room. I have 2 4x8 tables built and I am researching the best layout I can get in that space. You have given me some food for thought.
Should be fun !
That's shaping up very nicely. But personally I would be wary of putting long trestle sections right along the table edges. It may be tricky to maintain steady speed control coming downhill into the sharp corners.
