Thomas,
Nice work. I well understand how much time it takes to scratch-build even small structures and detail them nicely, as you have done. My under-construction 10'-by-5' layout has now has twenty-one structures, of which four are scratch-built and fifteen are from craftsman kits. I have been working on it for almost four years. Some buildings have taken one-hundred hours to build.

Beautiful job, incredible detail! Bill, also from the "real upstate NY"! LOL
I want to repeat what FrankM said as it expresses my thoughts perfectly! GREAT great work that you did.

Thank You All
Great job on them all. In this world of cookie cutter prefab buildings that most everyone uses it's great to see you step it up and make it your own.
Tom, They really look impressive! Very fine, realistic work!!
After being disappointed in the price of trees, I looked around on the forum and found trees made of furnace filters. Having the filters, I went to the hobby shop and Walmart and bought Dowel rods and paint. The one I cut circles and the other one I drilled holes in the trunk and put tooth picks in it. Then I sprinkled on Flock and Turf and added some paint. High priced trees may look a lot better, but I can live with these.
