My Santa 1954 F3s with 90’s Railsounds B Unit. Outer loop is O-72, thanks to all who suggested I go to O-72 for the 2-10-4, it’s my dream loco and I am really enjoying 3rd Rail’s craftsmanship and the engine’s realism and smooth operation. My oldest engines and my newest one!

Above is a test run after my friend Dr. Mike Walter resoldered the screw retained hinge on the loco to tender footplate. That was what was causing derailments in my old posts. In the end I unscrewed it and stored it away since I am working at floor level while railing the engine. This is a large layout with collector 3 Rail in the center and hand laid 2 Rail O scale surrounding.... all curves superelevated, individual ties with every tie having two tie plates and every tie plate having 2 spikes. Wiring is like NASA grade, I think it’s been under construction at least 18 years and he is just starting scenery.
