Welcome aboard!  Nice work. As some one mentioned check out Sunday Scenic Showcase here in Scenery and Structures.  Alan Graziano starts it up every week and he is a master of chemical and petroleum processing and storage structures, as well as just about anything.

I’ve built several model cars and plane kits over the years. This was my first attempt at scratch built. Beer cans, old air cylinder bodies and a few giant Christmas ornaments.

Spent several hours viewing the scenic Sunday posts. A wealth of talent          
Mr. Graziano’s models are beyond anything I could ever hope to build.                      
The whole thread encourages me.

Have several projects for my layout, all industrial, I’ll post them as they progress.

Adding a tank car filling platform. It is a bit skewed at the moment. The pipes are not secured.
All of the arms rotate to accommodate different size tank cars. Much to to add.

Your storage tanks look great. I especially like the the blue horizontal pressure vessel. There are plenty of great people on this forum and they will help you with any layout building issues you run into.
