We finally got DCS wired up to one of our yards on the layout. I moved some cars around with my Proto 3 New Haven Alco S-2 switcher. The Lionel boxcar with sounds realy added some fun and realism! So, here's almost 13 minutes of fun yard work. Hope you all enjoy! My shoulder was a little sore from holding up the phone!

I love yard work. Just when I talk myself out of that NH Switcher I see another video of one. Looks like it pulled those cars with ease. The paint scheme is more modern than the time period I model. I may just have to bump the time period a few years. You have to love those Proto 3 ALCO sounds. Enjoyed the video.
Very Nice. I have the engine in ps 2 and it is great. Beautiful layout.
That is an awesome yard. I'm envious. Very cool video. Having a yard for switching really adds to the enjoyment of a layout.

Am feeling extremely impressed, tempered by size envy!!! Beautiful layout. I was particularly impressed by the slow and steady last movement. Some one of these days I'll have to schlepp out to visit one of your open houses. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Andy! I have a tripod but didn't decide to start videoing until i was in the yard panel and already running.
Sorry for you sore shoulder. Your video is fantastic. Have one question. Who made the orange PS-2 covered hopper at the end of the train? Was it Weaver?
