Received a Morton Salt Factory for Christmas. When powered up the large EL signs would light up, however they would not animate regardless of the switch position. Also the red led's on the roof would not light or blink as advertised. I re-seated all of the connections with no luck.
I emailed customer care with the problem and after a few back and forth questions they advised they were sending a replacement, at no charge, with no requirement to return the defective unit.
I've purchased quite a few things from Menard's and have had a few minor issues, but nothing major. Too enjoy such a quick and professional response was a breath of fresh air.
Next step will be to extract the control board from the original and see if I can determine why the animation function is not working. I've been wanting to try my hand at weathering / kit bashing a building so I may give that a try.
