There was an article in the Florida Times Union about No. 1504 is set to get a $20,000 rehab.  It

is a 94 year old Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-2 light pacific locomotive. In 1989 it was moved from the CSX building to the Prime Osborn Center in Jacksonville, Fl. below is some info about the about the society handling the restoration.

The National Railway Historical Society was founded in 1935 to preserve and raise awareness of America’s threatened railroad heritage. Additional donations to the No. 1504 restoration project may be sent to: North Florida Chapter NRHS, P.O. Box 16493, Jacksonville, FL 32245-6493.

For updates on the locomotive, go to the society chapter’s Facebook page; a video of the locomotive’s 1989 move to the Prime Osborn is at youtube.com/watch?v=W7dA47FGZp4.

Trains Magazine awarded $10,000 for the rehab and CSX matched it.

The next Home and Patio show is Feb 27 - Mar 2, 2014. The Toy Train

Collectors of Greater Jacksonville group is usually invited to put up a layout.

For the fall show which was in September the group was not there.
