Non derailing ROSS wiring/DCS

Can one ground the derail control rails on the same rail that carries the DCS common throughout when the switch machines are powered by a ZW and the entire layout is powered by a Z 4000? The Switch motors are Z 1000; track is Gargraves and the turnouts are Ross.

If you have common ground then yes. If not then you’ll need to use the common hooked to the track.
