Has anyone had a SD70 apart ? Would it be a major job to replace the trucks ?

Like I said before I have two of these SD70's and the other one the PENN CENTRAL Road # 1073 run great.

The N.S. runs bad. Sound drops out, it will stop, 6 cab lights blinking. While running the N.S. SD70 the common green light on the left side will blink fast and the track green light on the right side will blink fast my TPC 400. I then have to reprogram the N.S. to get everything back.

This is why I want to replace the trucks, BAD PICK-UPS. It might not fix the 6 cab lights blinking, I have to do something.

We pay a lot of money for these engines. We shouldn't have these problems. I guess this is why the hobby is so much fun.

The pickup can be replaced without changing the truck.
