We are thinking about producing some nostalgic television shows from the 1950's decal sets for box cars in both "S" & "O" for the old TV shows.

Probably start with a #1947 NYC "HOWDY DOODY" box car set.

Anyone have a favorite? Please let us know. Perhaps yours will make the list.

Don't forget, all these old TV and radio shows have the rights owned by someone, somewhere, even if nothing's happened with them in decades. In fact, I won't name names, but a pal of mine owns the rights to a old radio show, bought for next to nothing in the 80s from someone who badly needed the money and had inherited the rights from the original person who started the show. He likes leaving recordings of the show around and saying, "I own that," to people who don't really get what he means by that.

Marx brothers, Laurel and Hardy, Martin and Lewis and of course the Three Stooges.

It would even be more fun to give the cars purpose like hook line and sinker fish delivery or cut throat pharmaceuticals. Maybe Brighto cleaning supplies. Let's not forget Gomez Addams demolition supplies or Uncle Festers electrical supplies. How about a billboard reefer for Gilligan and the skipper's boat tours.
