I'd be willing to be those Division Point HO C-Liners will cost more than MTH's O scale "cookie cutter" model.  I think Rapido Trains' HO C-Liners of several years ago went for about or slightly north of $300 with DCC and sound.

Due to family commitments , other interests etc I've been away from trains for a couple years , but after buying 13 of the HO Division Point Alco RS's the O scale DP Alco project has been the only thing I've kept an ear in for a while . I just exchanged a couple e-mails with Jack and as many of you know through Erik's posts and the DP web-site it's been a hectic time for him of late . It's been pushed back by the other projects and move etc. , but I think you should make your feelings known directly to Jack to get things moving forward . Something about the squeaky wheel .

Based on the 900+ for the RS-3s I would say 1700+/- should put you in the ballpark, for HO collectors this is a serious hobby.

Sadly no PRR RS3.

That's it, lets just scrap em all! One opinion based on two different lenses and cameras with an infinite range of focal point, monitor differences, variations in eye sight, and eye shape. After all that we can come up with an assessment of an erroneous set of measurements and sculpt. Furthermore we're going to compare to a model made over 40 years ago, that isn't bad if this model is correct and many models are correct as far back as the 1930's. The C-Line drawings were reviewed by at least a dozen C-Line experts, these guys are crazy about them, I guess they were all wrong. I sure had nothing to do with it. But if I did I would have told them to make sure the opinions on OGR approve!

Next thing you know we will be criticizing the color choices on the paint work. Many thanks to Rusty Traque for his wonderful example of how a photo cannot be used for assessing anything.

Thanks for your input.image
Same model, as Rusty said so well.. "I wish paint would behave itself!"
