Been trying to make my own tinplate inspired structures using computer generated drawings. Here's my "paper-plate" Whistling Depot made from cardstock printouts glued to a foamcore sub structure. Hidden inside is a Tyco whistling billboard unit. Still have a few details to finish up on the depot and then it will get a few coats of clear gloss for more od a tinplate look.
