Sounds like over the next three days there will be an episode for a catalog. Very nice. 

I'm pretty impressed with the show.  Meegan is really doing a nice job of generating excitement for the catalog in my opinion.  I'm actually looking forward to checking it out.  Usually the RTR catalog is not my bag but she is a really good spokes person for Lionel.

With Disney owning the "Star Wars" franchise, how long before we see Star Wars based sets?  The water tower with the ears sounds cool!  Looking forward to seeing that one.

Meegan, I just want to take a moment to complement you on your enthusiasm in stepping up to the plate for Lionel's latest RTR catalog.  Your enthusiasm nicely complements the excitement many toy train enthusiasts feel in anticipation of a new catalog.  The interview format of these podcasts is not exactly my cup of tea, so I only selectively listened to pieces of this one.  But your professionalism and enthusiasm came through loud and clear in the pieces I did listen to.  It's great to see someone succeeding in a new role.  Best wishes for continued success!

A Star Wars based set would be awesome Marty. My older son would love that.

Every Disney License is different and separate. There are different levels and each has their own price. Star Wars and Frozen are quite high.

Definitely like the RC helicopter on a flatcar, if Lionel would ever do multiple military versions, sign me up for the Army, Navy, and Marines.

Good job Meegan, imagination and toy trains always go together.

I think a Star Wars train should look like the new Batman Phantom.

Finally got to finish listening to the podcast tonight. 

Meegan if you could make a Cheerwine tank car happen (a la the AEC reactor fluid cars), I'd be in for a case. :-) Being a former North Carolinian and NC State alum and all

It might be quite expensive for a Star Wars train set.

The licensing rights would cost a great number of dollars.

They might have to create some new short-term, aluminum injection molds for adding the Star Wars look to the freight train.

If they make a STAR WARS train set, new trucks would have to be designed to have a mirrored covering around them to make it look like the cars are hovering when the train is moving fast.

I would LOVE a Star Wars train. It should not just say Star Wars but have a look as if it was from that world. Like an Empire military train or a Mos Eisly and Anchorhead Lines boxcar. Repourposed equipment for the plucky Rebels. A Jawa Traders Gondola full of junk parts. A heavily weathered lived in look should be on a lot of the equipment like the look of the things in the movies. 

Fun stuff. Creative stuff.

Catalog comes out on Wednesday.

It is by definition audio only by being a podcast.

How about a Donald Duck tape measure car.  It is always with him when he checks out whether something on his layout is scale!
