I took a 15 year break and about 2 years ago got back into it.

I was conventional only at first but became interested in DCS overtime. I did conventional at first with one DCS engine and now I have 5 with a DCS system. I have about 10 conventional Lionel engines and a few WBB, I even purchased two Lionel RTR sets, Maritime Exploration and Santa Fe but don't plan on buying more of those. I don't have much time to run trains and I have only scratched the surface using the DCS but I like this better.

I do run the conventional sometimes but not often.

I was planing to offer many for sale but have no interest in giving them away ...

Hello

Here's where I stand,

In coming from HO I could have had anything that was out there.

But I picked the old school units with conventional control.Wanted hands on , block control and freedom 3 rail gives you.

Run old or new ; scale or tin plate or  O-27

Have so much Tec at work .All day long and can't hide from it,

When I get home and have " THE TIME " just want to get lost in running rains,

I do not care if things are just not to scale or not , run whats looks good to me.

While I like the brand new stuff and its looks just like the real stuff I see every day at work.

Just not for me.

Some of the things I see here are great and can see the hard work and time one puts in.I learn from just reading about some of the things people can do with their trains.

The most important thing is to have fun,and if you can learn something that's cool too !

Maybe one day one of those Loco's might make it on to my RR ,but for now I like what I am doing

So lets have some fun and run some trains
