can some one please help me i bought this engine and coal car and i was told by the guy i bought it from that it was his dad's he was in his 70's. here are some pics of it would be wonderful if i could find anything out about this.

It looks like something in the 1938 catalog, a Chicago Fyler item carried over in the merger with Gilbert. Take a look at the 1938 catalog at myflyertrains.org. Regret that I am not particularly knowledgeable on Flyer "O" gauge.

There is a similar locomotive in the 1938 catalog but I believe this locomotive predates that year since it has a coal tender. Nothing in the 1938 catalog matches exactly this locomotive. All pre war Flyer that I own are great runners!
It is a 3326 loco from 1932. It is missing it's front and rear trucks.
chuck it does still have both trucks. i cleaned her up very well and she runs great. by any chance would you know what size brushes she takes? i have the brushes and want to order some but have no way to measure them.
