Man these guys don't play !!! I met Scott Smith Wednesday at our LHS and got 2 signatures on my Application for TCA.
Faxed it to TCA Thursday and my card arrived in the mail today!!!!!
Okay now that the Kudos are out of the way here's the question . Pre-registring for York ? . The packet I got from TCA has the York info in it
It says advanced registration is due no later than March 9 but says after March 9 the fee is 23 bucks on line?????
What gives can I still register on line? Is it just 23 bucks or do I have to include another 23 bucks for my wife?

There is no charge for your spouse. You will need to register her (and any kids) on your registration form. They will need badges to enter the hall.

I think there is still time to pre-register, either on-line or via mail.

If you register by mail, you will need to enclose a self-addressed envelope for the badges.

I don't know how they handle badges for those who register on-line.

Enjoy the show!

David, if you register online today I imagine you'll have your badges by the end of the week.  Keep in mind the badges must be visible when you enter the halls.  The badges themselves are just printed on square shaped heavy stock paper.  It'd be best to put them in a badge holder of some kind you can attach to your shirt or with a lanyard.  If you don't have one they sell them for $2 at the registration desk.

Thanks for the info. I have 2 girls in college(The last 2 out of 4 thank God) I'll see if they have something like the badge holders if not ...no big deal we can pick them up in york.
I'm excited this is like my first trip to Disney World . Almost makes me want to whistle 'It's a Small World After All" I said Almost

Thanks Ted,

We got our membership from TCA national in 2 days our badges for York in 4 days . Those folks are on the ball.
We have our room booked at the Sheraton , we arrive on Wednesday and leave on Saturday . I even have my "T" bag packed . It's a large bag I carry on the back of my Harley it's totally collapsible and doubles as a back pack it's also rated for 70 pounds.
I hope it's okay to bring it in ,I'd make it really nice to carry my purchases in.
I very excited , I can hardly wait.
David

David, if you don't want to carry around the back pack (there will be a ton of walking!), most vendors will hold your purchases at their table so you can return later to pick them up.

I once had to borrow a vendor's flat bed cart to take stuff to my car.  And none of it was on my 'want list'.

My wife & I are also staying at the Sheraton Wednesday - Saturday.

David, I'm anticipating checking into the Sheraton by 6pm that Wednesday.  After check in my wife & I plan on heading to the Fairgrounds for the DCS meeting.  Maybe you'd like to join us?  Even if you don't do DCS you can get something to eat there and the room will be full of OGR Forumites.

If not maybe we could meet before the noon opening on Thursday or at least at TGI  Friday's that night.  On Thursday's I wear my blue OGR shirt.

Brian ,

I thought about what to wear I guess I better get one of those stickers and write DPC on it with a red sharpie. I'm David in the real world but I don't think anyone will know me if I don't.(Coarse it may keep me from getting my lights punched out LOL)

I think we'll lay low Wednesday evening because we'll be driving up from Virginia.
She'll probably just want to do dinner and rest.

I do it all Brian DCS TMCC/Legacy . I came from the DCC world, O scale command I can do with one hand tied behind my back.
Hopefully we'll see you at Fridays I wouldn't miss that for the world.

David
