One-foot diameter water/drain pipes

I just enjoyed a very nice iced coffee at Starbucks. It went down easily through a light-green colored straw about 0.25" in diameter (one scale foot in 0 scale) It looks just like some drainage pipes I have seen being installed at a shopping center going up near me.

I imagine that a handful would be a lifetime supply for a small model railroad's ROW department.
