We heard that these were in short supply at Lionel and we ended up with an extra. I am not planning on opening it for pictures. Maybe someone that has one will add pictures to this thread. Anyway, they list for $2200 and we have this one sale priced at $1899.96 - save $300.

I can't imagine there are too many of these around, because I recall reading somewhere that these were actually "leftover" from the original production run of units catalog'd back in 2014 Vol 2.  They were reportedly given to Harry Heike, who renumbered the model to #2186 and worked his weathering magic.

The twist that's most puzzling is the Legacy Y6b's were supposed part of Lionel's BTO program.  If true, then why should their have been any "leftovers"?    Unless perhaps Lionel produced a few "extra" of one road-number (i.e., there were 3 road-numbers catalog'd) to fill out a factory-required minimum order.
