Thanks to OGR I was informed that the motor coil has 4 wires. Two of mine are broken and I can't find the ends on them. The two that are broken regulate right-hand and left-hand running of the motor assembly. Please advise as how I can distinguish between the two wires to get my motor running again and possibly how to repair it

Here is the wiring diagram for the similar 165 crane.
If you look at the motor section, you will see two wire ends that go to one motor brush. Those are the two that are soldered together in your pics...
I can see at least one of the other two leads in your pics... is the last one not accessible at all? You may have to very carefully unwind the outer field enough to access the broken off lead to the inner field and solder an extension to it.

Perhaps you can find a photo of an intact motor winding bobbin. I'd think they were made alike with 4 wires exiting in a consistent manner way. This would suggest where to start unwinding to find the loose end.
