Open House at Model Railroad Club of Milwaukee Nov 2018

Hello all ...one of the best parts about going to Trainfest ...is the ability to visit the Model Railroad Club of Milwaukee ... during it's open house Saturday evening of the show.  The Club is looking great after a fresh sprucing up for two days of "Open Doors Milwaukee"..... an event that open the doors to the public of many smaller unknown treasures in the city .....crowds of over 1000 each day filed through the Club ..which first opened it's doors in 1936.  

  The Club is old school ....no DCC or ADD ...just real trains with a mans throttle  and switcher..which is operated high up in the air ...

   For the evening they were running the circa...1940 Bedell electric .....and they were very ..kind to let me run the 1948 Gil Stovicek on the layout.......ran great !
