Hi.

I'm running out of room on my transformer shelf, and thinking about mounting a 1033 90 watt transformer upside down, under the shelf, using constant voltage to power some building lights and street lights.

Would there any issues with heat dissipation or any other things to be concerned with?

Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Heat build up, if any, is the only downside I see.  I've never had handles lose enough to fall off.  I have accumulated several 1033s to use on accesories/switches/etc in my new layout.  I plan to take the case off of mine before I mount them under my new layout.   They will be in a very low traffic area.  Currently I'm using open frame industrial xfmrs and a metal case prewar xfmr mounted to the bottom of the plywood.  No problems in the past 25 yrs.
