Ordered Base3..what do I need next? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My appologies if I'm in the wrong forum. I took delivery on the visionline big boy. I'm currently controlling it from my iPad using the Lionchief application. This app seems kind of limiting. I was wondering what I should invest in for train control if I'm running visonline and legacy trains. I know what to do with my MTH trains but unsure what I should invest for handheld controllers in 2024 for controlling my growing Lionel fleet, Are ther more iPad apps coming or should I spend the money on a physical legacy controller or something like that? As mentioned in the subject, I have a base 3 on order. Thanks for any guidance

There will be a CAB3 app that is released with the BASE3, so you have all you need when you get your BASE3. I like a physical remote myself, so I use the CAB1L and CAB2 with my Legacy system.
